Re: Rigging
Peter, The pdf file that you looked at is from my boat and how it is
rigged. She is a 1975 model, and I was told she was raced allot in
her time. Her top deck looks like a sponge from all of the holes
that have been filled. I replaced all of the running rigging this
summer, and everything seems to work out great while sailing. all of
the main, and jib controls plus the cunninham and boom vang are on
port. All of the spinnaker hallards, toping lift, downhaul are
starboard. I still dont like the idea of the trimmer being in back
of the helmsman and the grinder forward?? seems like the placement
of the genoa winches need to be move toward the front of the boat
and still have the genoa cars back, maybee cut 1 foot off of the
tiller? its just not rigged for the 2000's.
