Re: ventilation
I have a vent in the companionway boards. But two years ago I put a
vent in the cabin top and things are much better year 'round,
presumably with some cross flow. Scorpion is kept on the hard in the
winter.
When I got my trailer I wanted to maximize hoisting options and
located a ventilator hole right where the manual puts a port for
hoisting with a chain or strap from the keel bolts.
I don't know what the original hoisting arrangement looks like, and
the standard ventilator mounting flanges are bumped by the slide (the
actual ventilator is removable) so a different location might be
better.
